Board of Consultants
The Board of Consultants has as its specific and primary responsibility the evaluation
of manuscripts submitted for publication. This Board includes a large number and
a significant variety of scholars working on Hegel and Hegel- related research.
Moreover, scholars serving on the Board do not have to be members of the Hegel Society.
As much as possible, Consultants will try to write a report that helps the author
see how the work can be improved. Moreover, they will try to complete the process
of evaluation promptly. Because the Board of Consultants is now quite large,
the list of Consultants will no longer appear on the inside cover of The Owl
. Every now and then, The Owl will publish a statement acknowledging and
thanking certain individuals who have read papers for the journal in recent years.
In this way, we will give equal recognition to all who serve.
Correspondence concerning all subscriptions and membership
in the Hegel Society of America should be addressed to
